Harry Jackson Clark
This is a site dedicated to the life, career and business travels of HARRY JACKSON CLARK, a charismatic linen-maker, water engineer and family patriarch who was born in the age of Queen Victoria. In partnership with his older brother Alexander, he guided his family and business through slumps, booms and two world wars. Ardtara, Harry's family home in the village of Upperlands, is now one of Northern Ireland's best-loved country house hotels – offering old-fashioned comfort, excellent food and a warm welcome to travellers, golfers and wedding guests from all over the world.
